About the Work

My work explores fleeting moments of beauty and the ways those moments can transform us.

I’m drawn to the experiences that briefly make us stop and forget everything else—a brilliant sunset, moonlight on water, a flower in bloom, a bird in motion. These moments are temporary and can never be experienced in quite the same way twice. Rather than simply recreating what I see, I want to capture how those moments feel: the wonder, serenity, joy, or quiet shift they can leave behind.

That same sense of discovery is part of my process. Working primarily in acrylics, I often begin with very fluid paint, interacting with the colors and forms as they develop before working directly into them with brushes, mark-making, and figurative elements. I love the balance between spontaneity and intention—allowing something unexpected to emerge and then deciding how I want to respond to it.

No two paintings unfold in exactly the same way, just as no beautiful moment ever repeats itself quite the same way.
